“Shahi Jame Mosque” Place of Peace

Know the real history Shahi Jame Mosque

Shahi Jame Mosque was established in 1990 by our dedicated society members. Initially located 1 kilometer away, it was later shifted to Shaheb Bari for the convenience of the musallih.
In 2007, Cyclone Sidr caused significant damage to the mosque. With collective efforts, it was repaired. Today, we are striving to rebuild it to make it even better for future generations. Shahi Jame Mosque remains a symbol of our unity, faith, and resilience.

Our Mission

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,.

Our mission is clear: to establish an Islamic ecosystem for our society and future generations. This is not just a goal; it is our responsibility as Muslims. An Islamic ecosystem means creating a community where every aspect of life reflects the values of Islam—justice, compassion, knowledge, and God-consciousness. It is about nurturing a society that provides quality Islamic education, ethical business practices, strong family bonds, and sustainable living, all guided by the Quran and Sunnah. For our children, this ecosystem will be a shield against the challenges of the modern world, grounding them in their faith while empowering them to thrive in every aspect of life. Brothers and sisters, this mission begins with us—through our actions, our unity, and our dedication. Together, let us work towards a society that honors our faith, serves humanity, and leaves a lasting legacy of goodness. May Allah bless our efforts and guide us on this noble path.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Our Vision

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,.

Our vision is clear: to build a mosque and madrasa that serve as the heart of our community, and to ensure our children receive an education rooted in Islam. This is our duty and a trust we owe to future generations. The mosque will be a place of worship, unity, and guidance—a space where hearts connect with Allah, and the community grows stronger. The madrasa will nurture our children, teaching them the Quran, Sunnah, and the values of Islam while equipping them with the knowledge to succeed in life. By ensuring Islamic schooling, we aim to protect our children’s faith, build their character, and prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow—grounded in deen and ready to contribute to society. This vision requires dedication, resources, and, most importantly, unity. Together, let us work towards creating this legacy for ourselves and our future generations. May Allah bless our efforts and guide us on this noble mission.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Our History

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,.

we reflect on a remarkable milestone in our community's history—the establishment of the Shahi Jame Mosque in 1990. This mosque stands as a testament to the dedication, unity, and vision of our society members who worked tirelessly to build this house of Allah. The Shahi Jame Mosque is not just a place of prayer; it is a center of spiritual growth, community connection, and guidance. Over the years, it has been a beacon of light, fostering Iman, strengthening our bonds, and providing a safe space for worship and learning. We honor and thank those who laid its foundation—those who sacrificed their time, resources, and efforts to establish this sacred institution. Their vision and hard work continue to benefit generations today, and it is now our responsibility to preserve and expand upon their legacy. May Allah bless all those who contributed to this noble cause and guide us to keep this mosque vibrant and active in serving our community.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

A Continuous Reward (Sadaqah Jariyah): "Teaching the Qur'an is a form of ongoing charity that brings endless rewards. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stated, 'When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: charity that continues to benefit, knowledge that continues to be used, or a righteous child who prays for them' (Sahih Muslim 1631). Teaching the Qur'an spreads knowledge that benefits others for generations."

Attending and Honoring the Funeral: "Attending a fellow Muslim's funeral and offering the funeral prayer (Salat al-Janazah) is a significant responsibility. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, 'Whoever attends the funeral until the prayer is offered will have a reward equal to one Qirat, and whoever attends until burial will have a reward equal to two Qirats,' and he added that one Qirat is like the mountain of Uhud (Sahih al-Bukhari 1325). By participating, Muslims earn great rewards and fulfill a duty of respect and compassion."
